If you’re not from around these parts, you might be tempted to think Louisiana is all swamps and alligators. While we definitely have those, they’re only a small part of the diverse landscape that make up our state, and are generally found a bit further south than the corner of Northwest Louisiana Shreveport-Bossier calls home. This area boasts some of the most diverse and accessible locations in the south, making it the perfect jungle gym for filmmakers to climb on. Northwest LA has earned the nickname “sportsman’s paradise”, but it has all the right material to be a film haven as well. I mean, we don’t have anything against the golfers and fishermen roving around, but scenery this rich deserves a little attention from the film industry.
